Job summary

NH Collection Dubai The Palm is seeking an energetic Bartender to join our Food & Beverage team. You will prepare and serve beverages according to established recipes and hotel standards, while delivering friendly, attentive service and helping create memorable guest experiences.

Maintain knowledge of beverage menus, upsell opportunities, and ensure bar cleanliness, stock readiness, and smooth operations. Collaborate with colleagues across departments to exceed guest expectations.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Bartender, preferably within a hotel, restaurant, or bar environment.
• Good knowledge of beverages, cocktails, mocktails, and bar operations.
• Passion for hospitality and delivering excellent guest experiences.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Good command of spoken English; additional languages are an advantage.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of POS systems is preferred.
• Positive attitude, attention to detail, and strong teamwork skills.
• Flexible to work shifts, evenings, weekends, and public holidays.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve beverages according to established recipes and hotel standards.
• Provide friendly, attentive, and professional service to guests.
• Maintain knowledge of beverage menus, ingredients, promotions, and products.
• Recommend beverages based on guest preferences and upsell opportunities.
• Ensure beverages are consistently prepared and presented to the required standard.
• Monitor stock levels and assist with requisitions, inventory, and stock rotation.
• Process guest orders and bills accurately through the POS system.
• Follow all food safety, hygiene, responsible beverage service, health and safety, and hotel procedures.
• Assist with opening and closing duties and other operational requirements as assigned.
