Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience as a butcher, preferably in FMCG retail.
• Good English communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Follow standards to cut meat.
• Schedule daily activities with supervisor priorities.
• Discuss special instructions, product promotions, new products and price changes.
• Maintain customer relationships by welcoming customers, answering their questions, responding to special requests and describing product features.
• Maintain store shelves by observing displays of company products, removing damaged or freshness‑dated products, tidying store shelves and providing optimum display of products.
• Maintain inventory by restocking shelves with product from inventory, observing inventory levels and prompting store management to reorder when levels appear low.
• Help Sales & Marketing team with special promotions by setting up promotion displays, checking daily on special promotions, observing customer reaction, forwarding observations to management and removing promotions at the end of the promotion period.
• Maintain quality results by following and enforcing standards.
• Enhance merchandising and organization reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests, exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.
