Grand Mercure Business Bay in Dubai seeks an Audio Visual Technician to support events across the property. You will set up, operate, and maintain AV systems for meetings, conferences, weddings, and entertainment events, collaborating with Events, Banquets, IT, and Engineering teams.

The role requires expertise in professional AV, strong English communication, and flexibility to work rotating shifts in a 24/7 operation, ensuring seamless guest experiences.

Formación

• Diploma or Certificate in Audio Visual Technology, Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or related field.
• Minimum of 2 years of professional AV operations experience in luxury hotel, resort, or high-end events.
• Strong knowledge of professional AV systems and equipment.

Responsabilidades

• Set up, operate, and dismantle professional AV equipment for meetings, conferences, weddings, and events.
• Manage live audio mixing, video switching, and lighting during events.
• Configure and support video conferencing platforms (Zoom, Teams) for hybrid/virtual meetings.
• Perform pre-event checks and room setups according to Banquet Event Orders.
• Provide on-site technical support for VIPs and high-profile events.
• Assist guests and organizers in effective use of AV equipment.
