Grand Mercure Business Bay in Dubai seeks an Audio Visual Technician to support meetings, conferences, weddings, and events across the property. You will set up, operate, and maintain AV systems, collaborate with Events, Banquets, IT, and Engineering teams, and ensure flawless technical execution.

The role requires at least 2 years of luxury-hotel AV experience, proficiency with video conferencing, and a service-minded approach to delivering outstanding guest experiences in a fast-paced, 24/7

Qualificações

• Diploma or Certificate in Audio Visual Technology, Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
• Minimum of 2 years of professional experience in AV operations within a luxury hotel or high-end event environment.
• Experience operating AV equipment for events, conferences, weddings, and corporate functions.
• Strong working knowledge of professional audio, video, lighting, and conferencing systems.
• Ability to install, operate, and maintain PA systems, projectors, LED displays, and microphones.
• Knowledge of LED screen technology and digital displays.
• English proficiency; Arabic is a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Set up, operate, and dismantle professional AV equipment for meetings and events.
• Operate sound, lighting, projection, video systems, and LED displays during events.
• Manage live audio mixing, video switching, and lighting to ensure quality.
• Configure and support video conferencing platforms for hybrid meetings.
• Perform pre-event checks and room setups per Banquet Event Orders.
• Provide on-site technical support for VIP guests and high-profile events.
