Job summary

Grand Mercure Business Bay, part of the Accor hospitality network, seeks an experienced Audio Visual Technician to support meetings, conferences, weddings, banquets and entertainment events in Dubai. You will install, configure, operate and maintain AV equipment across the property, collaborating with Events, Banquets, IT and Engineering to ensure flawless delivery.

The role requires hands-on AV expertise, guest-focused service, and the ability to work rotating shifts according to event

Qualifications

Minimum 2 years of professional AV operations experience in luxury hotel, resort or high-end events environment.
Strong knowledge of professional AV equipment including sound, lighting, projection and LED systems.
Experience supporting conferences, weddings, corporate functions and entertainment events.
Ability to operate and troubleshoot AV equipment during live events.
Knowledge of AV signal flow, cabling and safety standards.

Responsibilities

Set up, operate and dismantle professional AV equipment for conferences, meetings, weddings and events.
Configure sound, lighting, projection, video and LED display systems per event requirements.
Operate AV mixers, video switching and lighting controls during live events.
Troubleshoot connectivity, sound and display problems during meetings.
Coordinate with Events, Banquets, IT and Engineering to meet AV needs.
