Job summary

Sisco Jobs is seeking a Structural Fabricator in Dubai to read engineering drawings and fabricate metal components for construction and industrial projects. The role requires welding and precise fabrication, with a focus on safety and accuracy.

The ideal candidate has extensive hands-on experience in metal fabrication, wide tool knowledge, and the ability to work under minimal supervision to meet project timelines.

Qualifications

• Minimum 35 years of proven experience as a Structural Fabricator in construction, oil & gas or industrial fabrication projects.
• Strong ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, BOMs and fabrication sketches.
• Certification in welding or structural fabrication is an added advantage.

Responsibilities

• Interpret engineering drawings, blueprints and fabrication sketches to determine build specifications.
• Cut, bend, weld and assemble metal components using fabrication tools and machinery.
• Fabricate structural steel parts such as beams, frames, platforms, brackets and supports as per project requirements.
• Conduct measurements, marking and layout preparation of materials before fabrication.
• Perform MIG, TIG, SMAW and other welding techniques to complete fabrication tasks.
• Operate tools and machinery including grinders, plasma cutters, shears, drill presses and cranes safely.
• Inspect fabricated components for dimensional accuracy and structural integrity.
• Ensure all assembly and welding practices comply with project specifications and safety standards.
• Collaborate with engineers, welders and site supervisors for timely project execution.
• Maintain tools, equipment and workspaces in compliance with housekeeping and safety protocols.
