Job summary

Qualifications

• ITI or diploma in welding; vocational training.
• Minimum 24 years of proven ARC Welder experience in construction/manufacturing.
• SMAW/MMAW welding certification is an advantage.
• Ability to read fabrication drawings and welding symbols.
• Knowledge of welding quality standards and inspection procedures.

Responsibilities

• Perform Arc welding (SMAW/MMAW) per project specifications and procedures.
• Read and interpret welding blueprints and fabrication drawings.
• Prepare materials by cleaning, cutting, grinding, and aligning components.
• Weld, repair, and fabricate structural steel pipes and metal parts.
• Conduct visual weld inspections to ensure quality and dimensions.
