Job summary

ALTRON SMART TECHNOLOGY SERVICES L.L.C. is seeking an experienced AV Solutions Designer to collaborate with the sales team, survey sites, and design systems for video conferencing, video walls, digital signage, and sound reinforcement.

You will prepare designs, BOMs, and diagrams, gather pricing, respond to RFPs, deliver demonstrations, and ensure a clean handover to project teams with strong documentation and certification awareness.

Responsibilities

• Work with the sales team to understand customer requirements and propose a suitable AV solution and scope.
• Conduct site surveys, needs analysis and technical discovery to design AV system architectures: video conferencing (Teams Rooms, Zoom Rooms), video walls and control rooms, digital signage, sound reinforcement, control and automation systems.
• Prepare system designs, signal-flow diagrams and drawings (AutoCAD, Visio) and the Bill of Materials / Bill of Quantities.
• Collect distributor and manufacturer pricing and installation effort estimates so that the proposal is costed correctly.
• Write technical proposals and respond to RFPs, RFQs, compliance sheets and technical queries with accurate documentation.
• Deliver technical presentations and product demonstrations to clients and consultants.
• Liaise with manufacturers and distributors on product selection, lead times, integration and certification requirements.
• Support proof-of-concept setups, mock-ups and pilot installations.
• Support the ELV scope (structured cabling, CCTV, access control, public address) when it is bundled with AV in a project.
• Keep opportunity records and solution documents up to date in our pipeline and document systems.
• Ensure a clean technical handover to the project and support teams after award.
