Job summary

Tanqeeb is seeking a Manager– Power Plant Control System (PPC) Specialist to lead configuration, testing, commissioning and validation of the central plant control system. You will ensure coordinated operation of generation assets and compliance with grid codes and utility requirements.

In this role you will drive PPC integration with solar inverters, WTGs, BESS/STATCOM, substation metering, and SCADA data integrity, while coordinating FAT and acceptance testing and providing training to O&M

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Power/Control Engineering.
• 8–15 years’ experience in PPC or plant-level control commissioning.
• Grid compliance and AGC testing experience mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Review PPC control philosophy and documents.
• Configure PPC setpoints and integrate with Solar, WTGs, BESS/STATCOM and substation metering.
• Perform open/closed-loop testing; verify APC, RPC, ramp rate and dispatch commands.
• Support AGC testing with grid operator and grid compliance tests.
• Prepare commissioning test reports and provide training to O&M teams.
