Job summary

LT-Larsen & Toubro is seeking a Manager– Power Plant Control System (PPC) Specialist to oversee configuration, testing, commissioning, and validation of the central plant control system. You will ensure coordinated operation of generation assets and compliance with grid codes and utility requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor-level engineering in electrical, power, or control engineering.
• 8–15 years' experience in PPC or plant-level control commissioning.
• Grid compliance and AGC testing experience mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Review PPC control philosophy, documents, and grid-code compliance requirements.
• Configure PPC setpoints, integrate with solar, WTGs, BESS, STATCOM, and substation protection.
• Conduct open-loop and closed-loop tests, verify APC, RPC, ramp, dispatch commands, and fallback modes.
• Support AGC testing with grid operators and perform grid compliance testing.
