Job summary

Qualifications

We are looking for Senior Power System Studies Engineer with strong electrical power systems knowledge. A successful candidate should have hands-on experience in power system analysis and optimization, skilled in load flow, short circuit, motor acceleration, relay coordination, transient stability, harmonic analysis, dynamic studies and arc flash analysis. Must be also familiar with PSS Softwares like PSCAD, ETAP, Digsilent power factory.

As a Studies Engineer, a typical day might include the following:

• Serve as technical lead and actively participate in complex project conceptual and detail design, execution, development, and support activities crossing multiple projects in two or more demonstrated experience using PSSE, ETAP, and/or RTDS. Strong electrical power systems knowledge.
• Identify, prepare and present successful proposals for SEL equipment, services, and systems.
• Lead project teams to resolve customer concerns and foster customer satisfaction.
• Ensure project team deliverables are within agreed upon scope, schedule and budget to a high level of quality and safety.
