Qualifications

• 2+ years relevant application experience with electric power systems, protection, relays and testing.
• Strong knowledge of power system protection, control, integration and communications.
• Willing to travel domestically and internationally at least 25%.
• Strong writing, documentation, and speaking skills.
• Ability to learn new skills and take on new responsibilities.
• Team-oriented with cooperative work style.
• Background check satisfactory to SEL; negative drug tests.

Responsibilities

• Understand and apply power system protection concepts, relays and SEL products.
• Train and assist customers with automation and protection system design, configuration, installation and operation.
• Complete work within scope, schedule and budget with high quality and safety.
• Participate in preparation of functional design specifications.
• Prepare and maintain design documents, reports, checklists and test deliverables.
• Follow SEL values and World Class Manufacturing principles.
• Understand, Create, Simplify.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
