Job summary

Black Pearl Consult seeks a senior leader to oversee the operations and maintenance of large-scale power and infrastructure assets in the UAE. The VP will drive asset reliability, safety, and performance across multiple sites.

You will develop strategies, manage budgets, lead high-performing teams, and coordinate contractors while maintaining regulatory compliance and delivering continuous improvement. This role requires a Mechanical or Electrical engineering background, MBA as an advantage, and

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or related field).
• Postgraduate qualification (MBA or similar) is an advantage.
• Strong experience in operations and maintenance within large-scale infrastructure or industrial environments.
• Proven leadership experience managing large teams and multi-site operations.
• Strong understanding of asset management and maintenance strategies.
• Experience in budgeting, planning, and performance management.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead the operations and maintenance of large-scale infrastructure assets across multiple sites
• Develop and execute strategies to improve performance, reliability, and operational efficiency
• Oversee maintenance programs, including preventive and corrective activities
• Ensure uninterrupted operations while managing risks, incidents, and operational challenges
• Drive performance through KPIs, reporting, and continuous improvement initiatives
• Manage and develop high-performing technical and operational teams
• Oversee budgets, cost control, and resource allocation
• Ensure compliance with safety, regulatory, and environmental standards
• Manage external contractors, vendors, and service providers
• Identify opportunities for innovation, process optimization, and technology adoption
