Qualifications

• Extensive leadership experience within luxury hospitality, ideally within five-star hotels, luxury resorts, private residences or similarly high-touch environments.
• Proven experience leading complex hospitality operations, multiple properties or diverse operational functions.
• Experience working with UHNW Clients, private households, royal households or family offices would be a strong advantage.
• Strong people leadership skills with the ability to build capable, accountable and service-focused teams.
• Understanding of luxury service and the ability to anticipate needs rather than simply respond to requests.
• Commercial capability across budgeting, manpower planning, procurement and cost management.

• Oversee the Client’s end-to-end travel experience, including private aviation, luxury accommodation and transportation.
• Lead the planning and delivery of private events and functions.
• Ensure properties are maintained to exceptional standards through oversight of facilities management and contractors.
• Oversee budgets, manpower planning, procurement and operational resources.
• Support property development, refurbishment and mobilization projects coordinating with Client and project teams.
• Lead the operational mobilization of new properties entering the portfolio.

We are looking for an exceptional Portfolio General Manager to lead the hospitality and operational performance of a prestigious portfolio of private residences and associated assets.

This is a senior leadership role for an accomplished luxury hospitality professional who understands that exceptional service is not simply about operating a property. It is about anticipating needs, bringing together people and services, and ensuring every aspect of the Client’s experience is seamless.

Primarily based in the UAE, the role will oversee an evolving portfolio that may also include international properties and other private assets.

The Role

As Portfolio General Manager, you will have overall responsibility for the end-to-end hospitality and operational performance of the Client portfolio.

You will be the first line of communication for the Client and their representatives, translating expectations into action and ensuring property teams, facilities partners, suppliers and specialist service providers consistently deliver to the highest standards.

Your remit will extend beyond the properties themselves. You will oversee the wider Client experience, including international travel, destination residences, private events and the mobilization of new properties into the portfolio.

You will also represent the operational and Client perspective on property development, refurbishment and improvement projects, ensuring new and existing properties are designed and prepared with the Client experience and long-term operation in mind.

What You Will Do

• Lead the overall hospitality and operational performance of a portfolio of luxury private residences and associated assets.
• Act as the primary operational point of contact for the Client and their representatives, building trusted relationships through responsive communication, sound judgement and absolute discretion.
• Lead, develop and support property management and operational teams, creating consistent standards of service across the portfolio.
• Anticipate Client requirements and ensure a highly personalized and seamless experience across every touchpoint.
• Oversee the Client’s end-to-end travel experience, including private aviation, luxury accommodation, ground transportation, destination residences and itinerary coordination.
• Lead the planning and delivery of private events and functions.
• Ensure properties are maintained to exceptional standards through effective oversight of facilities management, maintenance programs, contractors and specialist suppliers.
• Oversee budgets, manpower planning, procurement and operational resources.
• Support property development, refurbishment and improvement projects, coordinating between the Client, operational teams, project teams and specialist partners.
• Lead the operational mobilization of new properties entering the portfolio, ensuring they are ready to deliver the required hospitality and service experience.
• Continuously identify opportunities to improve service delivery, operational efficiency and the overall Client experience.

• Confidence overseeing facilities, maintenance, contractors and specialist service providers.
• An understanding of property development, refurbishment or mobilization projects would be advantageous. You do not need to be an architect or construction specialist.
• Experience coordinating complex VIP travel and private events would be highly desirable.
• Strong cultural awareness, ideally with experience working in the UAE or wider region.
• Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills.
• The resilience and composure to manage changing priorities without compromising quality.
• Absolute professionalism, integrity and discretion.

You will need to be equally comfortable leading strategically and getting close to the detail when it matters.

On one day, you may be reviewing portfolio performance, budgets, people or a major property project. On another, you may be coordinating an international Client arrival, resolving an urgent operational issue or ensuring an important private event is delivered flawlessly.
