Job summary

InterContinental Abu Dhabi, part of IHG Hotels & Resorts, is seeking a friendly Recreation Attendant to support our pool, beach and recreation facilities. You will greet guests, provide information, and help maintain clean, safe spaces that invite guests to relax and enjoy their time with us.

Daily duties include setting up recreation areas, replenishing towels and supplies, and coordinating with Lifeguards and hotel staff to ensure safety and guest satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Experience in a Recreation/Pool/Beach Attendant or similar guest-facing hospitality role.
• Hotel/resort recreation experience is a plus.
• Friendly, energetic personality with strong communication skills.
• Ability to work outdoors and perform physical tasks.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including mornings/evenings/weekends.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and provide information about recreation facilities and services.
• Supply towels and recreation items and ensure replenishment.
• Set up and maintain pool, beach and recreation areas to standard.
• Keep sun loungers, umbrellas, towels, and areas clean and presentable.
• Monitor areas for cleanliness, safety, and maintenance issues and report hazards.
