Job summary

ENNISMORE is seeking a guest-focused hospitality team member to oversee pool and beach areas on site. You will greet guests, provide towels and amenities, and coordinate with lifeguards, housekeeping and F&B to deliver an exceptional experience.

The role requires standing and walking outdoors, with a strong emphasis on safety, cleanliness, and teamwork. High school diploma preferred, hospitality experience is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Guest Assistance: Greet guests warmly, assist with seating, provide towels, umbrellas, and other amenities.
• Safety & Supervision: Monitor pool and beach areas, report hazards or emergencies.
• Cleanliness & Maintenance: Keep pool deck and beach areas clean, arrange furniture neatly.
• Towel Service: Distribute and collect towels, maintain inventory of clean towels.
• Pool & Beach Setup: Arrange loungers, umbrellas, cabanas, and furniture as needed.
• Water Safety & Quality: Report water quality concerns to ensure hygiene standards.
• Equipment & Supplies Management: Ensure equipment is functional and report damages.
• Lost & Found: Follow procedures for items left by guests.
• Service Coordination: Work with lifeguards, housekeeping, and F&B teams to enhance experience.
• Sustainability: Promote eco-friendly practices and conserve water.

Key Responsibilities

• Guest Assistance Greet guests warmly, assist with seating arrangements, and provide towels, umbrellas, and other amenities.
• Safety & Supervision Monitor pool and beach areas to ensure guest safety and adherence to hotel policies and safety regulations, Report any hazards or emergencies immediately.
• Cleanliness & Maintenance Maintain the cleanliness of the pool deck, beach areas, lounge chairs and other recreational facilities, Ensure all poolside and beachfront furniture is arranged neatly.
• Towel Service Distribute and collect towels, keeping an accurate record of inventory and ensuring the availability of clean towels for guests.
• Pool & Beach Setup Arrange loungers, umbrellas, cabanas, and beach furniture according to guest needs and property standards.
• Water Safety & Quality Report any water quality concerns to the appropriate department to ensure proper chemical balance and hygiene standards are maintained.
• Equipment & Supplies Management Ensure that all pool and beach equipment is in good working condition, Report any damages or maintenance requirements.
• Lost & Found Follow the hotel s lost and found procedures for any items left behind by guests.
• Service Coordination Work closely with lifeguards, housekeeping, and food & beverage teams to enhance the guest experience.
• Sustainability & Environmental Responsibility Promote eco-friendly practices by minimizing waste, reducing plastic use and following sustainable water conservation practices.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience: Previous experience in hospitality, recreation, or customer service roles is an advantage.
• Physical Stamina: Ability to stand, walk, lift, and carry items for extended periods in an outdoor environment.
• Customer Service Skills: Friendly and professional demeanor with excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
