Job summary

Rixos Al Mairid in Ras Al Khaimah seeks an energetic Pool & Beach Attendant to ensure pool and beach areas are clean, safe and welcoming for guests.

You will assist guests with seating, provide towels and amenities, and coordinate with lifeguards, housekeeping and F&B teams to deliver exceptional experiences while upholding safety and hygiene standards.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience: Hospitality, recreation, or customer service experience is an advantage.
• Physical stamina: Able to stand, walk, lift and carry items outdoors.
• Customer service skills: Friendly and professional demeanor with good communication.
• Teamwork: Collaborate with recreation, housekeeping, and food & beverage teams.
• Attention to detail: Focus on cleanliness and high hospitality standards.

Responsibilities

Rixos Al Mairid is seeking an energetic and customer-focused Pool & Beach Attendant to ensure the cleanliness, safety, and organization of the pool and beach areas while delivering exceptional guest experiences. This role involves assisting guests with seating arrangements, maintaining towel services, ensuring cleanliness, and upholding all safety and hygiene regulations. The Pool & Beach Attendant plays a crucial role in creating a relaxing and enjoyable atmosphere for guests.

Key Responsibilities

• Guest Assistance: Greet guests warmly, assist with seating arrangements, and provide towels, umbrellas, and other amenities.
• Safety & Supervision: Monitor pool and beach areas to ensure guest safety and adherence to hotel policies and safety regulations. Report any hazards or emergencies immediately.
• Cleanliness & Maintenance: Maintain the cleanliness of the pool deck, beach areas, lounge chairs, and other recreational facilities. Ensure all poolside and beachfront furniture is arranged neatly.
• Towel Service: Distribute and collect towels, keeping an accurate record of inventory and ensuring the availability of clean towels for guests.
• Pool & Beach Setup: Arrange loungers, umbrellas, cabanas, and beach furniture according to guest needs and property standards.
• Water Safety & Quality: Report any water quality concerns to the appropriate department to ensure proper chemical balance and hygiene standards are maintained.
• Equipment & Supplies Management: Ensure that all pool and beach equipment is in good working condition. Report any damages or maintenance requirements.
• Lost & Found: Follow the hotel's lost and found procedures for any items left behind by guests.
• Service Coordination: Work closely with lifeguards, housekeeping, and food & beverage teams to enhance the guest experience.
• Sustainability & Environmental Responsibility: Promote eco-friendly practices by minimizing waste, reducing plastic use, and following sustainable water conservation practices.
