Job summary

Caliberly is seeking a Shift Supervisor for an Oil & Gas facility in Morocco. The role requires leading a shift team to ensure safe, controlled plant operations, coordinating with maintenance, wells and logistics, and maintaining production within limits.

You will oversee start-ups, shutdowns, isolation, and handovers, while enforcing HSE, permit-to-work, and safety standards, and reporting on daily performance and risks.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3+ years of experience as a Shift Supervisor in Oil & Gas or Process Plant industries.
• Strong knowledge of HSE, Process Safety, Permit to Work, isolation and emergency response procedures.
• Experience managing shift teams and coordinating with Operations, Maintenance, Wells and Logistics teams.

Responsibilities

• Take overall operational responsibility for the plant during the assigned shift and direct operators and field personnel.
• Monitor plant operating conditions and ensure equipment remains within approved operating limits.
• Coordinate plant start-up, shutdown, isolation and restart activities.
• Monitor production flow from wells into the process plant and coordinate with well/field teams to maintain stable feed.
• Supervise safe and efficient loading operations and coordinate product availability between plant, storage and loading facilities.
• Ensure compliance with operating procedures, HSE, Permit to Work and isolation requirements.
• Lead toolbox talks and pre-job safety briefings and stop unsafe work.
• Coordinate equipment isolation and handover with Maintenance and ensure safe reinstatement.
• Monitor shift production performance and take corrective action within authority.
• Respond to plant/well/loading emergencies and lead initial response until site team takes control.
• Maintain shift logs, production records and reports.
• Conduct comprehensive shift handovers covering status, work, defects and risks.
• Lead and support operators with teamwork, accountability, safety and discipline.
