Job summary
Client of Sperton Global AS in the United Arab Emirates seeks an experienced Plant Operations Manager for RC Refinery Glycol Coolant and Brake Fluid manufacturing. You will oversee production, maintenance and safety programs to ensure reliable operations.
The role requires 10–15 years in chemical/refinery industries and hands-on experience with SAP PM, Oracle PM or IBM Maximo. You will lead projects, budgets and continuous improvement initiatives.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Diploma in Mechanical, Chemical or Industrial Engineering.
- 10–15 years in chemical, petrochemical, refinery or process manufacturing with plant ops and maintenance.
- Hands-on SAP PM/Oracle PM/IBM Maximo or similar maintenance systems.
- Knowledge of ISO systems, HAZOP, PSSR, MOC, TPM, FMEA, root cause analysis and safety practices.
- Strong leadership, communication, planning and problem-solving skills.
Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day operations of RC Refinery Glycol Coolant and Brake Fluid manufacturing plants to ensure smooth performance.
- Plan and control production activities, manpower, materials, utilities and resources to meet targets.
- Oversee maintenance of rotary and static equipment including pumps, heat exchangers, reactors and more.
- Ensure reliable operation of refinery units, distillation, reactors and blending systems.
- Develop and implement maintenance procedures, inspections and reliability programs.
