Job summary

Sperton Dubai seeks an experienced Plant Manager to lead RC Refinery, Glycol, Coolant, and Brake Fluid manufacturing operations. You will plan production, manage maintenance, and optimize energy use while ensuring safety and regulatory compliance.

You will oversee budgets, drive TPM and continuous improvement, coordinate with cross-functional teams, and develop staff to sustain high reliability and product quality across multiple units.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s/Diploma in Mechanical, Chemical, or Industrial Engineering or equivalent.
• 10–15 years in chemical, petrochemical, refinery, or process manufacturing with plant ops/maintenance experience.
• Strong knowledge of RC Refinery, Glycol, Coolant and Brake Fluid processes.
• Experience in rotary/static equipment maintenance, plant utilities, and industrial projects.
• Proven plant management, production planning, maintenance strategy, cost control, and team leadership.
• Hands-on with SAP PM, Oracle PM, IBM Maximo or similar systems.
• Knowledge of ISO management systems, HAZOP, PSSR, MOC, TPM, FMEA, root-cause analysis, and safety practices.
• Strong problem-solving, decision-making, communication, planning, and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day operations of RC Refinery, Glycol, Coolant, and Brake Fluid plants.
• Plan, organize, and control production activities, manpower, materials, and utilities to meet targets.
• Oversee maintenance of equipment (pumps, exchangers, reactors, seals, centrifuges, etc.).
• Ensure reliable refinery operation including distillation, blending, filling, storage, and utilities.
• Develop maintenance procedures and reliability programs; monitor KPIs.
• Lead engineering projects and new capacity expansions.
• Prepare annual operating and maintenance budgets and capex plans.
• Ensure SOP, quality, environmental, health and safety compliance; participate in HAZOP/PSSR/MOC.
