Job summary

Client of Sperton Global AS is seeking an experienced Plant Operations & Maintenance Leader in Abu Dhabi, UAE. The role oversees RC Refinery, Glycol, Coolant, and Brake Fluid plants, driving uptime, quality, and safety.

You will manage maintenance planning, lead capital projects, and develop the TPM, FMEA, and continuous improvement programs while coordinating cross-functional teams to optimize performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Diploma in Mechanical, Chemical, or Industrial Engineering.
• 10–15 years in chemical, petrochemical, refinery, or process manufacturing industries.
• Substantial experience in plant operations and maintenance.
• Hands-on with SAP PM, Oracle PM, IBM Maximo or similar systems.
• Knowledge of ISO management systems, HAZOP, PSSR, MOC, TPM, FMEA, and safety practices.
• Strong problem-solving, decision-making, communication, planning, and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day operations of RC Refinery, Glycol, Coolant, and Brake Fluid plants.
• Plan, organize, and control production activities and resources to hit targets.
• Oversee maintenance of rotary and static equipment, and plant utilities.
• Ensure safe, compliant operations and adherence to SOPs and environmental regs.
• Lead projects, installations, commissioning, and process improvements.
• Prepare budgets and cost-control programs; monitor KPIs and energy use.
