Job summary

POST A RESUME HR Consultancy is seeking a Maintenance Manager to drive site asset reliability, safety, and engineering excellence across a resin manufacturing plant. The role oversees uptime for reactors, blenders, and high-temperature systems while aligning with PSM standards and CAPEX initiatives.

The ideal candidate combines 8–11 years in chemical/resin plant maintenance with over 3 years in a managerial role and a strong track record in CAPA analysis, lean practices, and cost optimization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Chemical, or Electrical Engineering is required or equivalent.
• 8–11 years of maintenance experience in a chemical, resin, or petrochemical plant, plus 3+ years in a managerial role.
• Deep knowledge to perform systematic failure analysis and implement CAPA initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Asset Reliability: Implement and manage site-wide Preventive, Predictive, and RCM programs for reactors, blenders, agitators, condensers, and positive displacement pumps.
• Safety & Compliance: Lead Mechanical Integrity of PSM with statutory testing and inspection of pressure vessels, lifting tools, boilers, and hazardous piping.
• Utility Management: Ensure uninterrupted supply of critical utilities and optimize consumption costs with Operational Excellence partners.
• Financial Management: Plan and track annual maintenance budget to control expenditures and optimize utility costs per unit production.
• Team Leadership: Supervise and mentor multidisciplinary mechanical technicians, engineers, and contractors.
• Capital Projects: Coordinate CAPEX projects for process optimization, plant modifications, and capacity expansion.
• Technical Integration: Use AutoCAD and Excel for data interpretation; drive Lean Six Sigma, FMEA, and CI initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

AssetReliability:Implementandmanagesite-widePreventive,Predictive,andReliability CenteredMaintenance(RCM)programsforreactors,blenders,agitators,condensers,andpositivedisplacementpumps.

UtilityManagement:PartnerwithOperationalExcellencetoguaranteeanuninterruptedsupplyofcritical utilities including chilledwater,coolingwater,compressedair,nitrogen,andelectricalpower—whileoptimizingconsumptioncosts.

FinancialManagement:Formulate,allocate,andtracktheannualmaintenancebudgettorigorouslycontrolmaintenanceexpendituresandoptimizeutilitycostsperkilogramofproduction.

TeamLeadership:Supervise,train,andmentoratmultidisciplinaryteamofmechanicaltechnicians,engineers,andthird-partycontractorstofosterahigh-performanceculture.

CapitalProjects (CAPEX):CoordinateandexecuteCAPEXprojectstargetedatprocessoptimization,plantmodifications,andcapacityexpansion.

TechnicalIntegration:UtilizeAutoCAD,Excelforadvanceddatainterpretation,andSAP/ERPsystemstostreamlineworkflows,whiledrivingLeanSixSigma,FMEA,andContinuous Improvement(CI)initiatives.

Required Qualifications

Education: Bachelor’sdegreeinMechanical,Chemical,orElectricalEngineering.

Experience:8to11yearsofmaintenanceexperienceinachemical,resin,orpetrochemicalplantand more than 3yearsasaManagerialrole.
