Job summary

GS E&C is seeking an experienced Planning/Project Controls lead for large-scale oil & gas projects in the Middle East. You will oversee cost, planning and scheduling, coordinating multiple disciplines on site and driving the project control framework end-to-end.

The role requires a strong engineering degree, 10+ years in planning or project controls, and excellent English communication. Middle East exposure is preferred and a postgraduate degree is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's/College degree in an engineering or equivalent discipline.
• Advanced reading, writing, listening and speaking skills in English.
• Good oral communication with contractors and senior authority management.
• Postgraduate degree in relevant discipline is highly preferable.
• Proven track record in oil & gas field; Middle East experience preferable.

• Responsible for construction cost/planning and scheduling management.
• Organize, manage and coordinate disciplines at construction site.
• Support plant construction goals and foster trained staff.
• Provide project cost, planning and scheduling leadership for construction.
• Ensure full implementation of project control systems.
• Prepare project control plan per procedures and objectives.
• Provide project control summaries to stakeholders.
• Collaborate with project team on control/planning issues.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.

• Working closely with the project team assisting and guiding on any project control / planning issues.
• Other duties as assigned by the management.

Requirements

• Bachelor،¦s/College degree in an engineering or equivalent discipline. (B.S. degree is much preferable)
• Advanced reading, writing, listening and speaking skills in English.
• Good oral communication skills (meetings with contractors, senior authority management, technical disciplines).
• Post graduate degree is highly preferable in relevant discipline.
• Proven track record in oil & gas field.
• Over 10 years work experience in a Planning or Project Controls capacity working on large scale projects.
• Thorough experience and understanding of planning and scheduling, cost estimation and control.
• Middle East experience preferable.
