Job summary

TALENT ONE EMPLOYMENT SERVICES is seeking a Planning Engineer to manage programmes for major warehouse, logistics, industrial, or large commercial construction projects in Abu Dhabi.

Requirements include a Civil Engineering degree, 8+ years planning and project-controls experience (3–4 in the UAE), strong Primavera P6 and Excel skills, and PMP or similar certification preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 8 years of construction planning and project-controls experience, including 3–4 years in the UAE.
• Experience on major warehouse, logistics, industrial or large commercial construction projects is mandatory.
• Advanced Primavera P6 skills and strong Excel/reporting capabilities.
• Sound knowledge of construction sequencing, resource planning and procurement cycles.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Primavera P6 baseline programmes covering design, approvals, procurement, construction, commissioning and handover.
• Monitor progress across civil works, structural steel, infrastructure, utilities, MEP and external works.
• Identify critical-path delays and prepare recovery, acceleration and mitigation plans.
• Coordinate schedules with clients, consultants, subcontractors and internal project teams.
• Maintain progress and delay records; support extension-of-time (EOT) submissions, delay analyses and contractual claims.
