Job summary

Confidential is seeking a Planning Engineer in the UAE to develop, monitor and maintain schedules for civil infrastructure and power projects. You will prepare baselines, look-ahead plans and ensure milestones are met, coordinating with multiple teams to optimize resources.

Proficiency in Primavera P6, MS Project and Excel is required, with a track record of accurate progress reporting. GCC project experience is preferred, with a focus on utility and power sectors.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Electrical Engineering.
• 510 years of experience in Civil Infrastructure and/or Power Projects.
• Proficiency in Primavera P6, MS Project, and Microsoft Excel.
• Experience in utility projects (water, sewerage, stormwater, TSE, irrigation) and/or power projects (11kV/33kV cable laying, substations, transformers, switchgear).
• Strong knowledge of project planning, scheduling, and progress monitoring.
• GCC project experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and update project schedules using Primavera P6/MS Project.
• Monitor project progress and prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports.
• Identify delays, analyze critical paths, and develop recovery plans.
• Coordinate with project, engineering, procurement, and site teams.
• Plan and monitor manpower, materials, and equipment utilization.
• Prepare baseline schedules, look-ahead plans, S-curves, and resource reports.
• Maintain planning documentation and ensure project milestones are achieved.
