Senior Planning Engineer – UAE (Primavera P6 Expert)

Job summary

SEGULA Technologies is seeking a Senior Planning Engineer to lead integrated project schedules for a major UAE infrastructure initiative. You will develop baselines, monitor progress, and perform critical path and delay analyses to support on-time delivery.

The role requires strong Primavera P6 capability, CPM scheduling expertise, and experience with EOT and Time Impact Analysis, working within a multi-disciplinary project controls team in the UAE.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Mechanical Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
• 8–12 years of planning experience on large-scale infrastructure, railway, transportation or construction projects.
• Advanced Primavera P6 experience with CPM scheduling methodology.
• Proficiency with project controls tools and knowledge of FIDIC contracts.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain and update integrated project schedules using Primavera P6.
• Prepare baseline schedules, detailed execution programmes, procurement schedules, engineering schedules and resource-loaded schedules.
• Prepare recovery plans and revised programmes throughout the project lifecycle.
• Establish and maintain WBS, activity codes, calendars, milestones and schedule logic.
• Monitor progress across engineering, procurement, construction, testing and commissioning.
• Perform critical path, float and schedule variance analyses; conduct Time Impact Analysis (TIA).
• Produce weekly/monthly planning reports, dashboards, S-curves and KPI reports.
• Coordinate with PM, Construction, Engineering, Procurement, Commercial and clients.
• Review subcontractor/supplier schedules against the master programme.
• Support EOT claims and delay analysis with commercial teams.
