Job summary

Fisher Human Resource Consultancy is seeking a Planning Engineer in Dubai to develop and maintain project schedules for hotel and high-rise building projects. You will lead planning activities, monitor progress, and coordinate across design, procurement, construction, MEP, and handover to ensure timely delivery.

The role requires strong Primavera P6 and MS Excel skills, a background in civil/construction management, and UAE/GCC project experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management or related field.
• Proven experience on hotel, high-rise, commercial or mixed-use projects.
• Advanced Primavera P6 and MS Excel skills.
• Strong knowledge of project controls, critical path, delay analysis, and progress measurement.
• UAE/GCC experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage master and detailed project programmes using Primavera P6.
• Monitor progress, critical path, milestones, and schedule performance.
• Identify delays and risks and develop recovery plans.
• Coordinate planning across design, procurement, construction, MEP, façade, fit-out, commissioning, and handover.
• Review subcontractor programmes and monitor performance.
• Prepare weekly/monthly progress reports, S-curves, dashboards, and forecasts.
• Support delay analysis, EOT submissions, and contractual claims.
• Manage the planning team and coordinate with project stakeholders.

The role ensures that project activities are properly planned, sequenced, monitored, and completed within the approved timeframes, while identifying potential delays and supporting the project team in implementing effective recovery measures
