Job summary

KEO International Consultants in Dubai, UAE, is seeking a talented Planning Engineer to join our team. The role focuses on project controls, schedule development, and cost planning for large-scale landscape and infrastructure projects.

Ideal candidates will have 7 years of related experience and a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Architecture, with proficiency in Microsoft Office, Primavera, and Microsoft Project.

Qualifications

• 7 years of relevant work experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Architecture.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Primavera, and Microsoft Project.
• Experience with Landscape/Infrastructure projects in the UAE preferred.

Responsibilities

• Undertaking regular project analysis and control activities and schedule development, maintenance, monitoring, impact identification, and recovery plan development.
• Supporting project organizational and administrative activities, providing non-routine cost planning and scheduling guidance.
• Identifying, analyzing and providing innovative solutions to cost engineering and planning/scheduling problems.
• Executing Project Controls programs on assigned projects according to KEO Project Controls procedures.
• Reviewing and approving revenue data, financial summaries, status reports, and cash flow calculations for projects.
• Planning staffing needs for assigned projects.
• Reviewing contracts to ensure cost and scope definitions meet project controls requirements and coordinating data for negotiations.
• Preparing, coordinating and directing Project Controls presentations to management and clients.
• Preparing the Project Controls plan for assigned projects.

Weenvisageresponsibilitiesinthisroletoinclude;

• Undertakingregularprojectanalysis,andcontrolactivitiesandscheduledevelopment,maintenance,monitoring,impactidentification,andrecoveryplandevelopmentactivities.

• ReviewingandapprovingEarnedRevenueDeterminationData,ProposalFinancialSummaries,ProjectFinancialStatusReports,andChargeforProjectWorkingCapitalcalculationsforassignedprojects.
• Planningthestaffingneedsforassignedprojects.
• ReviewingthecontractdraftstoensuretheyincludeanadequatecostandscopedefinitionandmeetProjectControlsrequirements.Coordinatesthedevelopmentofalldatainsupportofnegotiations.
• Preparing,coordinating,anddirectingProjectControlspresentationstoKEOandclientmanagement,asrequired.
• PreparingtheProjectControlsplanforassignedprojects.

Qualifications
