Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering required.
• Well versed in Primavera P6.
• Minimum 10 years in construction with at least 5 years in Abu Dhabi, UAE.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Experience with mega projects preferred.
• Experience in Engineering Consultancy preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain project schedules using Primavera P6.
• Monitor progress; prepare weekly/monthly progress reports with critical path analysis.
• Identify delays, risks; recommend corrective actions.
• Conduct site visits to verify progress and schedule compliance.
• Support delay analysis, claims assessment, and variation evaluation.
• Collaborate with project teams, clients and contractors for coordination.
• Maintain records of schedules and supporting documentation for audits and closeout.

Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role located in Abu Dhabi for a Planning Engineer. Responsibilities include creating and managing project plans, monitoring project progress, ensuring adherence to schedules, and implementing project controls. The Planning Engineer will also perform data analysis and communicate updates to ensure the alignment of project goals with timelines and resources.

• Develop and maintain project schedules using Primavera P6.
• Monitor contractor and subcontractor progress; prepare weekly/monthly progress reports with graphs and critical path analysis.
• Identify delays, deviations, and risks; recommend corrective actions to clients and management.
• Conduct site visits to verify progress and validate schedule compliance.
• Support delay analysis, claims assessment, and evaluation of variations.
• Collaborate with project teams, clients, and contractors to ensure timely communication and effective coordination.
• Maintain accurate records of schedules, reports, and supporting documentation for project audits and closeout.

• Minimum of 10 years of experience in construction with minimum of five years of experience in Abu Dhabi, UAE
