Job summary

Lazourdy Contracting & Gen. Maint. in Abu Dhabi is seeking a Civil Planning Engineer to lead project scheduling in the civil domain.

The candidate must have a civil engineering background and hands-on experience with planning tasks for civil projects. Responsibilities include developing and maintaining Baseline Programs with WBS, using Primavera P6 to update schedules, generating weekly and monthly progress reports, and guiding project teams to resolve scheduling issues.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years of UAE experience in project planning and scheduling.
• Proficiency in Primavera P6 and related planning tools.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain detailed Baseline Programs with WBS, activities and milestones.
• Use Primavera P6 to create and update schedules.
• Prepare weekly & monthly progress reports with S-curves, Gantt charts and visuals.
• Conduct regular meetings with project teams to review progress and scheduling issues.
• Monitor progress against baseline and flag delays or deviations.
• Ensure schedules align with execution strategy and milestone achievability.
• Develop S Curve and manpower histogram.

Full Job Description

We at LAZOURDY is looking for a Planning Engineer to work with us. The rightful candidate must be from civil engineering background and handled similar project planning tasks related to civil engineering domain.

Qualifications:

-Education: Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering/ with minimum 5 years’ experience in UAE.

-Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in project planning and scheduling.

-Experience: Proficiency in project management software, Primavera P6.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain detailed project Baseline Program, including work breakdown structures (WBS), activities, and milestones.
• Utilize project management software, Primavera P6, to create and update schedules.
• Prepare and update Project Weekly & Monthly progress reports, including S-curves, Gantt charts, and other visual aids.
• Conduct regular meetings with project teams to review progress and address scheduling issues.
• Monitor project progress against the baseline schedule and identify potential delays or deviations.
• Ensure that schedule is based on project execution strategy and schedule milestones are achievable
• Develop S Curve and Manpower histogram.
