Candidates should have a mechanical engineering background, familiarity with AutoCAD, and 3–5 years of piping engineering experience.

Responsibilities

Check pipe spool fabrication drawings for content and accuracy.
Check shop pipe fabrication isometrics against client drawings, scope, and specifications for accuracy and manufacturability, mark-up errors and re-check corrections.
Familiar with department standards, procedures, and guidelines.
Familiar with various metallurgies.
Basic understanding of non-destructive examination methods, heat treatments, paint, and welding procedures.
