Job summary

Wood is seeking a Piping Fabrication Manager to lead all piping fabrication activities on ADNOC Gas EPCM projects in Abu Dhabi. You will coordinate with engineering, procurement and construction teams to deliver safe, compliant piping systems on schedule.

The role requires extensive oil & gas EPC/EPCM experience, mastery of ASME/ASTM/API codes, and a proven track record in large yards and subcontractor management. Strong leadership and communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or related discipline.
• Minimum 20 years of oil & gas project experience with 8–10 years in senior piping fabrication management.
• Proven track record on large-scale EPC/EPCM projects, preferably in Middle East.
• Strong knowledge of piping fabrication processes, welding, materials management and quality control.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage all piping fabrication activities (shop fabrication and modular assembly).
• Ensure adherence to ADNOC Gas standards, project specs and international codes.
• Coordinate with Engineering for accurate fabrication drawings (isometrics, spool drawings).
• Oversee fabrication yard operations, subcontractor performance, and resource planning.
• Implement QA/QC processes including material traceability, welding procedures, NDT and ITPs.
• Report progress, risks and metrics to Project Management.
• Support pre-commissioning and commissioning deliverables.
