Job summary

Wood is seeking an experienced PMC Lead Piping Engineer to oversee the design, development, and implementation of piping systems for a high-profile ADNOC project in Abu Dhabi. You will ensure safety, compliance with project specs, and adherence to industry codes while coordinating with EPC contractors.

The role requires a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering, at least 15 years in oil and gas, and a minimum of 5 years as a Lead Engineer on petrochemical projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Minimum of 15 years of relevant oil and gas experience.
• Minimum 5 years as a Lead Engineer on a major Petrochemical project.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical expertise in all Piping design and integration within IPMT.
• Ensure design and engineering compliance with ADNOC standards and project specs.
• Coordinate, monitor and handle piping design with EPC Contractor within project timelines.
• Review and approve piping deliverables from consultants/contractors for quality and compliance.
• Interface with other discipline engineers and management to resolve technical issues.
