Epic Piping is seeking a Piping Detailer to join our team in Abu Dhabi. You will draw weld maps and spools using AutoCAD and AutoSpool, and you will read piping isometric drawings to support global projects.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in mechanical engineering preferred.
• 2 years drafting experience in pipe fabrication.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD; AutoSpool/Spool Gen preferred.

Responsibilities

• Draw weld maps and spool drawings using AutoCAD.
• Read piping isometric drawings.
• Prepare shop spools from client drawings.
• Perform calculations to support assigned work.

Epic Piping has an exciting opportunity available for a Piping Detailer to be an integral part of our team. What You’ll Do

• Accurately draw weld maps and spool drawings utilizing Autospool and AutoCAD.
• Proficient in reading Piping Isometric Drawings.
• Hands-on experience with AutoSpool/Spool Gen software and AutoCAD
• Be familiar with client project scope and specifications.
• Draw shop pipe fabrication spools from client drawings utilizing AutoCAD.
• Do calculations necessary to support assigned work.
• Perform drafting to accepted company, client, and industry standards.

What You’ll Need

• Education: Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering preferred
• Experience: 2 year of drafting experience in Pipe fabrication
• Computer Skills: AutoCAD, Outlook, Excel, and Autospool is preferred.
