Job summary

Epic Piping is seeking a Piping Detailer to join our team and contribute to high-quality pipe fabrication projects. You will produce weld maps and spool drawings, read isometric drawings, and ensure compliance with client specifications using AutoCAD and AutoSpool.

We welcome applicants with a diploma or degree in mechanical engineering and at least two years of drafting experience in pipe fabrication. Our training and mentorship programs help you grow while working on national and global

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Mechanical Engineering preferred.
• 2 years of drafting experience in pipe fabrication.
• Proficient in AutoCAD, Outlook, and Excel; Autospool preferred.

Responsibilities

• Accurately draw weld maps and spool drawings using AutoSpool and AutoCAD.
• Proficient in reading piping isometric drawings.
• Hands-on experience with AutoSpool, Spool Gen software and AutoCAD.
• Be familiar with client project scope and specifications.
• Draw shop pipe fabrication spools from client drawings utilizing AutoCAD.
• Do calculations necessary to support assigned work.
• Perform drafting to accepted company, client, and industry standards.

WHAT YOU LL DO

• Accurately draw weld maps and spool drawings utilizing Autospool and AutoCAD
