Job summary

Ali and Sons Holding L.L.C. is seeking an experienced Senior Pipeline Surveyor to lead field surveys, stakeouts, and data interpretation for pipeline projects in Abu Dhabi.

You will operate and maintain GPS/GNSS receivers, total stations, and laser scanners, delivering accurate maps and reports for engineers and managers. The role requires a PLS or equivalent license and a minimum of 5 years in pipeline surveying.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in surveying or closely related field is required.
• Current PLS or equivalent license in the relevant jurisdiction.
• Minimum 5 years of progressive experience in pipeline surveying and construction.
• Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD Civil 3D, Bentley MicroStation) and GIS.
• Experience operating GPS/GNSS, total stations and digital levels.
• Knowledge of land acquisition, rights-of-way and easement research.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather and terrain.

Responsibilities

• Conduct precise field surveys to establish pipeline routes.
• Locate existing infrastructure and verify property boundaries.
• Operate and maintain surveying equipment and ensure data accuracy.
• Analyze survey data and generate maps, drawings and reports.
• Provide real-time survey support to engineers and project managers.
• Perform topographic and cross-section surveys for pipeline design.
• Stake out control points and features for construction per design specs.
• Review historical records to establish boundary information.
• Monitor construction progress against survey controls and report deviations.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations and safety protocols.
