Job summary

PPOAR in Umm-al-Qaiwain, UAE is seeking an experienced Land Surveyor to join the team. The role involves conducting detailed land surveys and collecting data for mapping and engineering projects, with emphasis on accuracy and timely reporting.

Ideal candidates hold a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field, have at least 3 years of surveying experience, and possess strong problem solving, communication and analytical skills. Foreigners are welcome to apply.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• 3+ years of experience in land surveying.
• Strong problem solving, communication and analytical skills.
• Professional certification or license is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct detailed surveys of land using specialized surveying instruments.
• Collect data on land features such as elevation, boundaries, contours, etc.
• Prepare survey reports detailing the findings of the survey.
• Develop maps and charts based on survey data.
• Work closely with other departments to ensure that design requirements are met accurately.
• Ensure accuracy of survey results by double checking calculations and measurements.
• Provide technical advice when necessary.
