Job summary

Sheikh Sultan bin Zayed Hospital invites a Physiotherapist specializing in Pelvic Floor Rehabilitation to join the Physiotherapy & Rehabilitation team. You will provide comprehensive assessments and evidence-based management for male pelvic health, pelvic floor and related musculoskeletal conditions in a multidisciplinary setting.

Required are a Bachelor’s degree in Physiotherapy, UAE licensure eligibility, and strong English/Arabic communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Physiotherapy/Physical Therapy is required.
• Valid professional license/eligibility to practice as a Physiotherapist in the UAE.
• Clinical experience in Male Pelvic Health/Pelvic Floor Rehabilitation.
• Strong knowledge of pelvic floor anatomy, physiology, assessment, and rehabilitation.
• Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
• Good written and verbal English and Arabic communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform pelvic health assessments and develop personalized treatment plans.
• Assess and treat pelvic floor muscle dysfunction and related conditions.
• Manage urinary, bowel, pelvic pain, and post-prostatectomy concerns.
• Deliver pelvic floor rehabilitation, including exercise, biofeedback, and neuromuscular re-education.
• Provide manual therapy for pelvic, abdominal, hip, and lumbar conditions.
• Educate patients on pelvic health, lifestyle changes, and self-management strategies.
• Support pre- and post-operative rehabilitation and multidisciplinary care.
• Maintain accurate documentation, monitor outcomes, and uphold evidence-based practice.
