Job summary

Our client in the UAE is seeking a dedicated Physiotherapist to provide assessment, treatment, and ongoing care for patients with movement disorders related to injury or birth. You will work within an international multidisciplinary team in a professional setting.

The role requires a recognized Bachelor's in Physiotherapy, 2 years of postgraduate experience, and a valid DOH license or eligibility. Pediatric and complex neurological experience is highly valued.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Physiotherapy required.
• 2 years post-graduate clinical experience preferred.
• Valid DOH license or eligibility is required.
• Experience in Pediatrics and complex neurological presentations preferred.
• Post-qualifying certificates in sports injury rehab, lymphedema management, or scoliosis management are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assess and evaluate patients to determine necessary physiotherapy interventions.
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatments as needed.
• Treat movement disorders resulting from injury or congenital conditions.
• Liaise with Occupational Therapists and General Practitioners as needed.
• Update and maintain accurate patient records and reports.
• Ensure compliance with OSHMS policies and government regulations.
• Refer patients to other specialists for advanced treatments when appropriate.

Description

• Our client is looking for an healthcare professional familiar and comply with all OSHMS policies standards and procedures that are relevant for their workplace
• Attend applicable facility and departmental safety training and follow OSHMS policies and procedures
• Evaluate patients to determine whether physiotherapy interventions are necessary
• Assess patients in accordance with the professional practice guidelines and standards
• Monitoring the progress of patients and adjusting or changing treatments as needed
• Treat patients with movement disorders that were acquired through injury or have been present since birth
• Regularly measure patient progress by looking for signs of decreased stiffness pain and discomfort
• Recommend new tools and equipment to assist patients with regular exercise
• Refer patients to other specialists for massages acupuncture hydrotherapy or other specialized treatments
• Liaising with other healthcare professionals such as Occupational Therapists and General Practitioners and referring patients as needed
• Involving the families and caregivers of patients in their treatment programmes and the delivery of care
• Updating and maintaining accurate patient case notes and reports
• Evaluate effects of therapy treatment and communicate patients progress
• Staying up to date regarding new physiotherapy technologies and techniques
• Complying with government physiotherapy regulations

Who you are

• You bring experience as Physiotherapist Therapist and an excellent work ethic

Education & Qualifications:

• Recognized Bachelors Degree in Physiotherapy
• 2 year post graduate experience in a variety of clinical environments
• Valid DOH license or eligibility

• Post-qualifying certificates in relevant areas like sports injury rehab, lymphedema management, or scoliosis management
• Relevant range of experience in patient care settings specifically in Out Patient
