Job summary

GMG seeks a Registered Pharmacist for its Dubai retail pharmacy operations. The role focuses on accurate prescription review, dispensing, patient counseling, and insurance coordination within a busy retail environment.

The ideal candidate has 1–2 years of UAE experience, a DHA license or eligibility, and strong knowledge of UAE regulatory requirements. You will contribute to compliant pharmacy services across GMG's health portfolio in Dubai.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy, UAE licensed or eligible.
• Valid Dubai Health Authority license or eligibility letter.
• 1–2 years of experience as a registered pharmacist in the UAE.
• Sound knowledge of prescription review and medication dispensing.
• Understanding of UAE pharmacy regulations and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Review prescriptions for completeness, accuracy, and clinical suitability.
• Confirm medicines, strengths, doses, quantities, and directions.
• Identify potential drug interactions, contraindications, and duplication.
• Clarify questionable prescriptions with authorized healthcare professionals.
• Compound and dispense medications according to valid prescriptions.
• Label medicines accurately and provide clear usage instructions.
• Explain dosage, administration, storage, precautions, and side effects.
• Refer customers to a physician when symptoms require medical assessment.
• Maintain confidentiality of prescriptions and customer health information.
• Comply with Dubai Health Authority and Ministry of Health requirements.
• Follow regulations for preparing, labeling, storing, and delivering medicines.
• Coordinate insurance approvals and claim processing.
• Order medicines and manage stock and expiry controls.
