Qualifications

• Bachelor in Petroleum Engineering or equivalent.
• Excellent command of English with strong verbal and written communication skills.
• 5+ years of extensive experience in petroleum engineering within the oil & gas industry.
• Hands-on experience in ESP completion design and operations.

Responsibilities

• Plan and supervise rig-based well operations, including ESP design, installation, commissioning, and acid stimulation activities.
• Lead completion optimisation activities with focus on ESP performance and reliability.
• Plan and supervise rigless operations, including wireline and slickline interventions, and interpret data for well decisions.
• Analyse production performance and manage production data to propose technical solutions for well and field production.
• Interpret pressure and well test data to evaluate reservoir and well performance and support production optimisation initiatives.
• Prepare and manage annual budgets, monitor expenditure, and ensure cost control for production and intervention activities.
• Ensure full compliance with HSE, quality, and environmental standards during all operations.

JOB TITLE :

PETROLEUM ENGINEER

Work Location

Abu Dhabi (with frequent offshore visits as per job requirements)

Leave Cycle

• 150/30 – on Single status
• 335/30 – on Family status (applicable after completion of Probation period)

Working Hours

• Abu Dhabi – 07:00 to 15:00 (5 days a week)
• Offshore - 06:30 to 18:30 (1-hour lunch break), 7 days a week

Salary Range

• AED 12,000 – 14,000 per month

Family status benefits will become applicable upon successful completion of the probationary period.

• Plan and supervise rig‑less operations, including wireline and slickline interventions, and interpret acquired data for well intervention decisions.
• Analyse production performance and behaviour, manage production data, and propose technical solutions to optimise well and field production.
• Interpret pressure and well test data to evaluate reservoir and well performance and support production optimisation initiatives.
• Prepare and manage annual budgets, monitor expenditure, and ensure effective cost control for production and intervention activities.

Additional requirements

• In‑depth knowledge and hands‑on experience in ESP completion design and operations.
• Strong understanding of drilling, completion, wireline, and general oilfield operations.
• Proven experience in planning, supervising, coordinating, and evaluating slickline operations.
• Strong project management capability with effective problem‑solving and decision‑making skills.
• Good team leadership, analytical and communication skills, with familiarity in production data management and interpretation tools and proficiency in MS Office.
