Job summary

Star Services LLC in Abu Dhabi seeks a Petroleum Engineer (Oil & Gas) to plan and supervise rig-based well operations, ESP design, installation, and offshore interventions.

Requires 5+ years in petroleum engineering, a Bachelor in Petroleum Engineering, and strong English. ESP/Wireline expertise, project coordination, and cost control are essential. Salary AED 12,000–14,000 monthly; benefits include health insurance, single-status accommodation, and air tickets; contract hire.

Qualifications

• Bachelor in Petroleum Engineering or equivalent.
• Excellent command of English with strong verbal and written communication skills.
• 5+ years of extensive experience in petroleum engineering within the oil & gas industry.
• Hands-on experience in ESP completion design and operations.

Responsibilities

• Plan and supervise rig-based well operations, including ESP design, installation, commissioning, and acid stimulation activities.
• Lead completion optimisation activities with focus on ESP performance and reliability.
• Plan and supervise rigless operations, including wireline and slickline interventions, and interpret data for well decisions.
• Analyse production performance and manage production data to propose technical solutions for well and field production.
• Interpret pressure and well test data to evaluate reservoir and well performance and support production optimisation initiatives.
• Prepare and manage annual budgets, monitor expenditure, and ensure cost control for production and intervention activities.
• Ensure full compliance with HSE, quality, and environmental standards during all operations.
