Job summary

Cranleigh Abu Dhabi invites applications for an AV & Production Technician to join our school from August 2026. This role supports a vibrant co-curricular programme with hands-on delivery of sound, lighting and AV for concerts, assemblies and events.

The successful candidate will manage and operate live sound, lighting and recording systems, coordinate with staff and external teams, and help deliver livestreams and productions while maintaining safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in AV technology, sound engineering, technical theatre, event production or related field.
• 3–5 years experience in AV/production support, preferably in a school or venue.
• Experience with live events, concerts and large productions.
• Knowledge of stage lighting, sound systems and AV management.

Responsibilities

• Manage, maintain and troubleshoot the School's AV equipment (sound, lighting, projection, recording).
• Set up, operate and strike AV gear for assemblies, productions and concerts.
• Provide on-site technical support to staff, students and external performers.
• Support livestreaming, recording and multimedia requirements for events.
• Maintain equipment inventory and assist with upgrades.
