Job summary

Furchild in the United Arab Emirates is seeking a motivated performance marketing intern to learn and contribute to paid media campaigns across Meta and Google. You will support campaign setup, tracking, testing, and optimization while gaining hands-on exposure to e-commerce marketing workflows.

You will work under mentorship, with structured training in paid media, analytics, and creative testing, and you may be considered for a full-time role based on performance.

Qualifications

• Eagerness to learn performance marketing and willingness to train.
• Interest in pets or pet nutrition is a plus.
• Baseline comfort with numbers and spreadsheets.

Responsibilities

• Build, launch and manage campaigns on Meta and Google.
• Maintain account hygiene: negative keywords, exclusions, budgeting, bidding.
• Plan and run structured A/B tests on creatives, copy, audiences and landing pages.
• Brief and rotate ad creatives with the design team to minimize fatigue.
• Track ROAS, CPA, CTR and conversion rate; flag issues same day.
• Maintain tracking: Meta Pixel, GA4, GTM, UTMs.
• Deliver weekly performance report and monthly review with recommendations.
• Document all accounts and processes in a shared playbook.

Performance Marketing (80%)

• Build, launch and manage campaigns on Meta (Facebook, Instagram) and Google (Search, Performance Max, Shopping)
• Maintain account hygiene: negative keywords, audience exclusions, budget pacing, bid adjustments
• Plan and run structured A/B tests on creatives, copy, audiences and landing pages
• Brief and rotate ad creatives with the design team to minimize creative fatigue
• Track ROAS, CPA, CTR and conversion rate; flag problems the same day
• Maintain tracking: Meta Pixel and Conversions API, GA4, Google Tag Manager, UTMs
• Deliver a weekly performance report and a monthly review with recommendations
• Document every account and process in a shared playbook

Other Marketing Responsibilities (20%)

• Support email campaigns (setup, segmentation, QA)

• Help with social content, competitor ad monitoring and promotions

• Assist with in-store and event activations when needed

Requirements

• A genuine eagerness to learn performance marketing; no prior paid campaign experience required, we will train you
• A true gen ai native
• Comfort with numbers and spreadsheets (Excel or Google Sheets)
• Clear written English
• Eligible to undertake a paid internship in the UAE
• Any exposure to Meta or Google Ads (coursework, freelance, own project or certification)
• GA4 and Google Tag Manager experience
• E-commerce or D2C experience (Shopify a plus)
• Basic design skills (Canva, CapCut)
• Interest in pets or pet nutrition
