Job summary

Quantum Talent Group is seeking an experienced Perception Data Engineer (Robotics) for an on-site, 12-month contract in Abu Dhabi. You will process sensor data, calibrate perception systems, and deliver clean datasets from robots and autonomous vehicles, using Python, ROS/ROS2, and advanced LiDAR-camera workflows.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in a technical field such as Robotics, CS, Mechatronics or Electrical Engineering.
• 2 to 5 years of robotics/perception engineering or autonomous vehicle data pipelines experience.
• Strong Python and ROS/ROS2 development experience with real robots or vehicles.

Responsibilities

• Own perception data pipelines and sensor calibration workflows for autonomous platforms.
• Process camera, LiDAR, IMU and GNSS data streams with precise synchronization.
• Develop calibration routines, coordinate transforms and 3D point cloud processing.
• Handle large rosbag/MCAP datasets for ML training and evaluation.
• Collaborate with robotics software, perception, localization and mapping teams.
