Job summary

Client of AIQU is looking for a seasoned Robotics Embedded System Engineer to join its R&D team in Dubai. You will architect, develop and maintain embedded software for advanced robotic platforms, ensuring robust performance and seamless sensor/actuator integration in a Linux ROS2 environment.

Responsibilities include real-time software design in C and Python, ROS2 package integration, hardware-software collaboration for sensor interfaces, and rigorous testing across unit, integration and system

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Robotics or Computer Science (or related field).
• 4–7 years of professional embedded systems experience in robotics.
• Proficient in C and Python for real-time/high-performance apps.
• Hands-on ROS2, Linux (Ubuntu or similar), and ARM MCU knowledge.
• Strong debugging, Git, and communication skills in English.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement real-time embedded software for robotic systems.
• Integrate ROS2 packages and custom drivers on Linux-based platforms.
• Collaborate with hardware engineers for sensor interfaces and protocols.
• Develop unit, integration and system tests to ensure reliability.
• Document, review code, and support field deployments.
