Job summary

Qualifications

• Diploma in Healthcare Assistance is required.
• BLS certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Assist pediatricians and nurses during outpatient visits.
• Prepare examination and treatment rooms before appointments.
• Measure and record vital signs (temperature, pulse, respiratory rate, blood pressure, height, weight, head circumference for infants).
• Collect basic medical history from parents or caregivers to support assessment.
• Maintain accurate patient records and ensure confidentiality.
• Educate parents on basic health, hygiene, medication administration, and follow-up care.
• Maintain clinic cleanliness, infection prevention and safety standards.
• Ensure stock of medical supplies and report shortages.
• Support referral processes and follow-up appointments.
• Respond to pediatric emergencies with the team’s help.
