Key Responsibilities
- Conduct psychological assessments and clinical interviews for children, adolescents, and adults.
- Provide individual counselling and psychotherapy, together with family counselling where appropriate.
- Develop individualized treatment plans based on each client 's needs and clinical presentation.
- Support clients experiencing emotional, behavioral, developmental, and psychological concerns.
- Monitor client progress and adjust treatment plans when clinically appropriate.
- Maintain accurate, confidential, and timely clinical documentation.
- Collaborate with psychiatrists, physicians, therapists, schools, and other healthcare professionals involved in client care.
- Communicate effectively with clients and families from diverse cultural and linguistic backgrounds.
- Participate in multidisciplinary case discussions and contribute to coordinated, holistic patient care.
- Maintain professional, ethical, and confidentiality standards applicable to psychological practice in the UAE.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Bachelor 's or Master 's degree in Psychology, Clinical Psychology, Counseling Psychology, or a related field, as applicable to the role.
- Relevant clinical experience working with children, adolescents, and-or adults.
- Strong psychological assessment, counselling, and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively with culturally diverse clients.
- Fluency in Arabic and English, French and English, or English plus another relevant language is preferred.
- Strong interpersonal skills, empathy, professionalism, and commitment to client-centered care.
- Candidates must meet applicable UAE and Dubai professional licensing requirements for their scope of practice.
