Job summary

Eaton Dubai seeks an experienced Training Specialist for PCB assembly (SMT/THT) to develop and deliver comprehensive training materials and hands-on programs. You will onboard operators, conduct ESD training, and ensure certification before operation, while maintaining skill matrices for production readiness and NPI support.

The role requires IPC standards knowledge, a foundation in electronics, and a track record of structured training program development within PCBA manufacturing.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in PCBA manufacturing and training.
• IPC CIT certification is a strong advantage.
• Familiarity with IPC-A-610 standards.
• Experience developing and delivering structured training programs.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and update training materials for SMT/THT processes and quality standards.
• Deliver hands-on training for SMT/THT equipment and processes (solder paste printing, SPI, P&P, reflow, AOI).
• Conduct onboarding and refresher ESD training for operators and staff.
• Ensure operators are trained and certified before independent operation.
• Maintain operator skill matrix for production readiness and NPI support.
• Perform competency audits on the shop floor and provide coaching.
• Integrate ECO/MCO changes into training materials quickly.
• Support NPI and prototype builds with training readiness and pilot runs.
• Maintain records of training progress, certifications, and dashboards.
• Create visual aids, one-point lessons, guides, and videos to accelerate learning.
• Coach operators on board handling and soldering quality; collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Champion safety, ESD control, IPC workmanship, and Lean/Kaizen principles.
