Job summary

Kerno is seeking a PCBA Testing Specialist for its Dubai Silicon Oasis manufacturing team. You will perform functional tests on PCBA assemblies, apply pass/fail criteria precisely, and work with engineering, quality and production to keep the line running smoothly.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or diploma in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 3–5 years of manufacturing experience, preferably electronics/PCBA testing.
• Experience operating automated test equipment and its software.
• Ability to read and interpret technical docs, procedures and specs.
• Good understanding of ESD handling and basic electronics knowledge.
• FPT experience preferred; ICT experience is a plus.
• High attention to detail and strong troubleshooting skills.
• Clear communication and teamwork abilities.

We're looking for a PCBA Testing Specialist to join our manufacturing team and make sure every printed circuit board assembly we build meets engineering specifications and the quality standards our enterprise customers depend on. You'll run functional tests on automated test systems, apply pass/fail criteria with precision, and identify and upscale issues quickly. You'll work closely with engineering, quality and production teams to keep the line running right.

What we’re looking for

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, ideally in electronics or PCBA testing within an EMS company.
• Proven experience operating automated test equipment and its software.
• Strong ability to interpret technical documentation, procedures and specifications.
• Good understanding of ESD handling and a basic understanding of electronic components and circuit functionality.
• Experience with Flying Probe Testing (FPT) is preferred; hands-on experience with In‑Circuit Testing (ICT) is a plus.
• High attention to detail, strong analytical and troubleshooting skills, and a quality-driven mindset.
• Clear communication and reporting skills, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
